Chemiemetall

Located in Bitterfeld, Saxony-Anhalt, 30 kilometers north of the city of Leipzig in Germany, the subsidiary CM Chemiemetall GmbH was acquired in 2001 and from the beginning it has provided clients with products of the highest quality.

Since 2008, 100% of production was done using newly installed technology, which has contributed a significant reduction in costs. The new standards of quality ensure the best possible product for the client.

In 2008, the company sold 1.3 million pounds of molybdenum equivalent, between its powdered metallic molybdenum products and molybdenum dioxide, which together with the sales of ferromolybdenum, led to sales in the region of US$ 115 million.

The Board of Directors of CM Chemiemetall GmbH Bitterfeld is comprised of John Graell Moore as president and Fernando Alliende and Rafael Raga as directors. The Managing Director of the German subsidiary is Klaus Andersson.
